Lithuania closing doors!

In the wake of recent increase in VAT and other government decisions ruining a once thriving tourism sector, Lithuania's hotels, restaurants and tourism companies have found themselves on the verge of collapse, with over 10,000 employees in the sector already fired.

In protest against this situation, Lithuania's hotels and restaurants are to organise warning strikes on 11 and 29 of June, with a general strike to be held on 5 to 6 of July.
